1. Lorry Receipt (LR) Contract

All consignments accepted by DEV Logistics are governed by the official Lorry Receipt (LR) issued at the time of pickup at our Noida, Delhi, Gurugram, Bhiwadi, or Bawal hubs. The LR constitutes the binding contract of carriage between consignor, carrier, and consignee.

2. Cargo Declaration & Prohibited Goods

Consignors must accurately declare cargo weight, contents, value, and hazardous ratings. DEV Logistics does not transport contraband, illegal substances, or undeclared dangerous goods under Indian Motor Vehicles and Freight laws.

3. Transit Liability & Insurance

Consignors are advised to secure transit insurance for high-value cargo. Carrier liability is limited to terms defined in the official LR and standard road transport regulations, unless declared value insurance surcharges have been agreed upon in writing.

4. Delivery & Electronic Proof of Delivery (e-POD)

Delivery is deemed complete upon physical unloading and signature on the physical LR or digital e-POD certificate by the designated consignee representative.
